Augmented reality for city exploration

Android application with elements of AR. One of many products that let users to explore the city and places in the closest area. Filters, map with pins, details of objects and users recommendations. But it’s one of few, that gives user an opportunity to turn on camera and see where exactly each point is.

This secret project was realised by me couple of years ago and today range of AR tools for Android is much greater. It was my first contact with interaction beetwen phone camera, gps and gyroscope and I can say that it was definitely interesting experience. I used open source droidAR library that was not very reliable but I did my best to reduce the noise and improve stability of markers.
